L'Oreal Anti-Aging Molecule Reinforces Skin Matrix-Researcher

L'Oreal has developed a new anti-aging molecule called pro-xylane,which reinforces the extracellular matrix of skin,according to L'Oreal Senior VP Research and Development Alan Meyers.The scientist discussed the molecule during his presentation on high-performance anti-aging skin care formulas during the third annual Cosmeceuticals:New Science,Trends,Patents,Claims & Growth Opportunities meeting in New York June 8-9."What we decided to do in developing this new molecule is focus on looking at the extracellular matrix"of skin,Meyers said,noting the researchers studied the components that are the"root causes"of cutaneous density and firmness.
