Colgate-Palmolive Company may be taking its Tom's of Maine brand into new categories as it pursues slow but steady growth of the brand in the U.S., Colgate President and CEO Ian Cook indicated during his June 17 presentation at the Deutsche Bank Global Consumer Conference in Paris. "The focus has been, at least for the medium term, oral care and to an extent personal care, but it can go beyond that, so watch this space," Cook told attendees, though he did not expand on what categories the brand might enter.
