A new skin-care ingredient from Barcelona-based Provital Group purports to increase men's productionof a key pheromone and "increase their power ofattraction."Called Sensfeel, the ingredient is intended to escalate production of androstadienone - a molecule present in male sweat that is believed to elicit a hormonal response from women - and enhance men's sex appeal, according to Marc Baholas, Provital's technical and sales manager."We are the first launching a product like this in the cosmetic field," he said in an April 19 interview with "The Rose Sheet" at Reed Exhibitions' in-cosmetics conference and trade show in Barcelona.
