PIDILITE CELEBRATES MAIDEN FOUNDER'S DAY TO HONOUR LATE B. K. PAREKH

The maiden Founder's Day (91st birthday) of late Shri B. K. Parekh (BKP), former Chairman of Pidilite Industries Ltd., was celebrated on 12th March 2015 at their Kondivita (Mumbai) premises. BKP was a charismatic, multifaceted personality who became a business icon in the manufacture of adhesives, sealants and specialty chemicals. He was passionately and selflessly involved in the fields of medicine, education, literature, semantics and human welfare. At the age of 22, he envisioned his roadmap for ultimate success. Scripted in 1945, this vision became a reality in 2011. Photographs and video clippings of BKP's personal, professional and social life were showcased at the event, interspersed with employees rendering BKP's favourite Hindi and English songs.
