The Council of the Royal Pharmaceutical Society has awarded its first accreditation for an education and training programme to prepare pharmacists for supplementary prescribing. After formally adopting criteria for accrediting such programmes at its meeting on 6 August, the Council went on to accept the recommendation of an accreditation team that the programme developed by the University of Keele should receive accreditation.
