A pharmacy training day in Latvia

This was my second visit to Latvia within a period of 18 months. Even during this short time the changes - at least in the capital city of Riga - were obvious. Mobile tele-phones are more numerous, the shops a little smarter, the food tastier and the service friendlier. Reconstruction work is much in evidence, from the scaffolding on the city's castle to the replacement of stones on the cobbled streets. The sound of tapping and banging fills the air from morning until evening.
