With an increase in foreign travel in recent years,travellers are frequently facing hazards not encountered at home - from well recognised problems such as traveller's diarrhoea and malaria to extremes of climate and health risks.Pharmacists and other health professionals are increasingly encountering patients with health problems as a consequence of travel and are expected to counsel them on appropriate treatments and preventative measures.
