Coke and Methanol Project of Hebei Kingboard Starts Production

The first-phase 1.0 million t/a coke and 100 000 t/a methanol project constructed by Kingboard (Hebei)Coking Co.,Ltd.and Kingboard (Hebei)Chemical Co.,Ltd.started production in Xingtai of Hebei province on March 18th,2007.Xingtai is an important coal production base in Hebei province.Kingboard (Hebei)Coking Co.,Ltd.and Kingboard (Hebei)Chemical Co.,Ltd.are 2 subsidiaries wholly owned by Hong Kong Kingboard Chemical Group.Preparations for the establishment of the two companies were started in July 2003.The project has a total investment of more than RMB900 million and covers an area of around 41 hectares.
