Export markets see solid improvement in April

U.S. scrap paper exports in April were down almost 6 percent compared to March, but prices remained essentially flat, falling less than l percent, according to data from the U.S. Commerce Department, Bureau of the Census. During the first four months of the year, exports were down 3.3 percent compared to the same time last year, while prices were down more than 25 percent.
