Identify pests and control them before losing yield and money. During June and July there are several important insect pests for peanut producers to focus scouting efforts on. First of all scouting should be done once a week on a regular schedule so that the grower can properly time needed applications with the fungicide schedule. Enough random samples should be taken in each field to cover all field borders and interior areas that might have different soil types or growth habits.
