Tooling technique forms tube with existing stamping press

Greenville Tool & Die has patented a tooling technique called liquid impact forming. This technique is designed to fill the gap between hydroforming and traditional stamping.The highly powered submersion technique shapes tubular parts by pressing them at 5,000 to 30,000 PSI underwater, using an existing stamping press. No custom pumps or metering equipment is needed.
