Demand pull:PVC prices up 20% in 4 months to Rs.43/kg

Rising demand,lack of capacity addition in five years,a steady rupee and lack of adequate supply have seen prices of poly vinyl chloride (PVC) appreciate by over 20% in the last four months.PVC prices have shot up from Rs.34.6 per kg in May '03 to over Rs.42.5 per kg in September.
