LKAB Minerals opens refractory recycling centre in the Netherlands

On the 28th May 2015, LKAB Minerals officially launched its refractory recycling centre in Moerdijk, the Netherlands. The investment will reclaim, sort and process a number of alumino-silicate and magnesia recycled materials, servicing the European market. Moerdijk's recycling centre took just over seven months to build and boasts excellent logistics, with direct access to Europe's waterways as well as road and rail links. The site will house 12 000m2 operational and storage space dedicated to refractory material storage and processing.
