HR SCCs Make Improvement in Net Profits in January-September

Aggregate business performance by seven local steel service centers (SSCs) of hot-rolled coils (HR) listed on stock market or Kosdaq market was found to have made much improvement both in operating income and net profits in the January-September period compared with the same period last year. Sales by those 7 HR SSCs registered on the DART system of the Financial Supervisory Service plunged 10.6 on average in the same comparison, but the number of the SSCs that made an improvement in sales exceeded the number of others that failed to do so.
