Magnesium Board Business Gains Momentum from Construction of Magnesium Material Cluster at Haeryong Ind. Complex

The business of magnesium boards, which is receiving spotlight as the next generation's materials, is gaining momentum from the construction of a magnesium material cluster at the Haeryong Industrial Complex. With the move-in of magnesium processors, the whole process from the POSCO's output of magnesium boards through the actual production of the magnesium goods is expected to get higher efficiency, if the magnesium business supporting facilities are built in the Haeryong Industrial Complex. The provincial government of Jeollanam-do signed on August 10 the memorandum of understanding(MOU) with 12 magnesium material-related enterprises that plan to move into the magnesium business supporting facilities, which are to be built in the Haeryong Industrial Complex, and to make their investment in the magnesium business.
