YK Steel, which suspended the production lines of its plant and began a large-scale revamping works on them July 15 for the streamlining of the facilities, is speeding up the streamlining works on its rolling mills in particular for the efficient consumer management. The rolling mills of the company are scheduled to resume commercial production in August, while the commercial operation of steelmaking mills will be restarted in September. YK Steel is currently under the streamlining work on its #1 rolling mill for 28 days from July 15 through August 11 and has a schedule to conduct a test run of the mill for 10 days thereafter under a timetable for the resumption of its commercial production on August 22. Its #2 rolling mill, which is getting through a 35-day streamlining work from July 15, will begin its fresh commercial production on August 29 after a test run for 10 days.
