Improvement in Competitiveness to Become Major Engine for Development Nonferrous Metal Industry

It was pointed out that nonferrous industry should make its all common efforts to sharpen its competitive edge, as an improvement in competitiveness would become the major engine for the development of the industry in the future. The Korea Nonferrous Metal Association (KONMA) held its regular semiyearly seminar June 16 at Korea Advanced Institute of Science & Technology Building under the auspices of the Korea Metal Journal for an improvement in competitiveness of Korea's nonferrous metal industry. The seminar, which was held in a situation that Korea's nonferrous metal industry is standing at an important turning point to jump over one step more, has received favorable response from all the attendants from the related industry and academic circles.
