Electric Home Appliances Getting Larger and Upgraded Last Year

In 2002, domestic electric home appliance industry saw a growing trend of household appliances getting larger and more upgraded and enjoyed a sharp increase in sales of large-sized refrigerators and kimchi refrigerators in particular. According to the recent industrial output statistics released by the National Statistical Office, most of domestic electric home appliances including refrigerators, washing machines and air-conditioners increased from a year ago in production as well as sales both at home and abroad last year, but personal computers and VCRs were found to have retracted in the same comparison.
