Increase Rate of Exports Likely to Slow Down in Second Half: LGERI

South Korea's exports hit a monthly record high of U.S.$51.5 billion in July, but the increase pace of its exports is likely to slow down in the second half of the year, affected by the fiscal crisis in the advanced countries, a slump of the global economy and the deterioration of the export environment, said LG Economy Research Institute (LGERI) on August 21 in a report.
