Hyundai Steel held its third-quarter investor relation session on October 28 at the Dangjin Works of the company and said that it is expecting to post more than 10 trillion won in its annual sales this year, marking a sharp increase in the production and sales of its flat products as a result of the stabilization of its blast furnace operation, despite a steep fall in the sales of its long products including rebars and H-beams caused by a slump in construction industry.
