Korean CR Makers Finalize Second-Quarter HR Import Price Talks with Japanese Steelworks

A large number of Korean cold-rolled steel sheet (CR) makers' price negotiation with Japanese blast furnace steelworks for their imports of Japanese hot-rolled coils (HR) in the second quarter of the year has been finally settled after having lengthy discussion to narrow a wide price gap between the two parties, which is likely to accelerate the remaining local steelmakers' HR import price talks.
