Local electric furnace steelworks plan to raise the capability utilization rates of their reinforcing bar mills to a large extent, beginning in January. Since their inventories of reinforcing bars have recently dropped to the bottom levels due to a large gap between actual demand and speculative demand in the domestic market for reinforcing bars, those steelworks plan to make smooth their supply of reinforcing bars by maximizing the capability utilization rates of their mills.
