China's production of crude steel posted 39.84 million tons in February, up 2.5% from a year ago but a drop of 4% from a month earlier. Thus, aggregate production of crude steel for the first two month of the year in China totaled 81.34 million tons together with the accumulated output of steel products reaching 91.8 million tons. In the same period, China's exports of steel products posted 3.74 million tons, which accounted for 4% of the entire output of steel products and 4.3% of the total production of crude steel.
