Korea's production of reinforcing bars increased to a large extent in the first quarter of this year compared the same period last year together with a marginal rise in the sales of them in the same comparison. Due to the severe drawdown of their inventories, most local steelworks appear to have sharply increased the production of their reinforcing bars in the first three-month period of the year.
