Local electric furnace steelworks that repaired their reinforcing bar mills on a large scale in January and February have outlined their plans to carry out the second-half repair works of their mills mostly in July and August. Dongkuk Steel has set a relatively long period for their facility repair works during summer vacation, while other steelworks including Hyundai Steel plan to conduct the facility works for a period between a week and about ten days. Hyundai Steel said that its facility repair works of its Incheon Plant will begin on July 19, but its facility repair schedule for the Dangjin has not yet been fixed.
