In the January 2014 issue of The Journal of Thoracic and Cardiovascular Surgery, Malaisrie and associates published a consensus panel opinion document describing the intraopera-tive steps as well as key preoperative evaluation and planning and postoperative considerations for minimally invasive aortic valve replacement (MIAVR).
