The effect of growth hormones such as IAA, IBA, and NAA at different concentrations (1000-5000 ppm) were used to induce root formation for the leafy stem cuttings of Celastrus paniculata and Clerodendron serratum an important medicinal plants under mist chamber conditions. A substantial increase in the percentage of rooting was observed by treated with 4000 ppm IBA in Celastrus paniculata and 3000 ppm NAA in Clerodendron serratum. All the concentrations of growth regulators induced more percentage ofrooting compared to control.
