Re: Peyronie's disease plaque calcification-prevalence, time to identification, and development of a new grading classification

Dear Editor, We read the article by Levine et al. [1]. with interest. The authors retrospectively reviewed the penile duplex ultrasound (PDU) findings of 834 men presenting with Peyronie's disease (PD) in order to define the role of this imaging modality in determining the clinical significance of the calcification of the plaques. The study concluded that men with greater calcification diameter have an increased likelihood of progression to surgical intervention and a likelihood of undergoing a grafting procedure.
