AimThe purpose of this study is to determine whether proinflammatory cytokines and matrix metalloproteinases (MMPs) in amniotic fluid (AF), alone or in combination with clinical risk factors, can predict spontaneous preterm delivery (SPTD) at < 34 weeks in women with cervical insufficiency.
