IN CHOOSING ME FOR THIS Year's RHO CHI AWARD, the Committee has exhibited an unusual degree of charitableness and ecumenism. I have, to be sure, enjoyed the privilege of working with practitioners and educators in pharmacy to enhance and expand the clinical role of the pharmacist as a member of the health care team. But this has always seemed to me so logical and so obvious that it scarcely deserves the recognition you have accorded me. Nonetheless, I would be ingracious indeed if I did not express my sincere pleasure and gratitude to you.
