摘要

For complex software intensive systems, test-based verification of reliability and availability requirements at the system level is challenging because of the specified Mean Time Between Failure (MTBF) values (typically hundreds of hours) and the constrained test schedule. Nevertheless, operational availability and materiel reliability are a US Department of Defense (DoD) mandated Key Performance Parameters and System Attributes. This article proposes an approach to meet this challenge involving utilization of data from lower level components to create a system level result.
