Rhamnoglucouronan From Alcea rosea Stems

摘要

The acidic polysaccharide rhamnoglucouronan, the structure of which was studied by chromic and periodate oxidation, methylation, partial acid hydrolysis, and ~13C NMR spectroscopy, was isolated from Alcea rosea stems. The main polysaccharide chain consists of #alpha#1->2 and #alpha#-1->4 buond rhamnopyranoses and uronic acids and is branched.
