Grey Relational Analysis between Subjective Evaluation and Objective Psycho-acoustic Parameters of Car Door Closing Sound

The quantification relationship between subjective evaluation and objective psycho-acoustic parameters of car door closing sound were researched with grey relational analysis (GRA) as a method in order to improve sound quality of car. And quantification relationship between objective psycho-acoustic parameters was obtained. Car door closing signals were recorded undisturbedly outside laboratory and replay for subjective evaluation in quiet laboratory. Programs were developed to realize GRA of loudness, sharpness, harshness, fluctuation and subjective evaluation optimal value. These objective psycho-acoustic parameters were queued according their correlation to subjective evaluation optimal value. Besides of these, relationships between every two parameters were researched.
