Forecasting Heavy Death Poll Caused by Invading Typhoon of Taiwan Using Grey Chain Prediction

摘要

Due to the geographical location of Taiwan, there are typhoons visiting Taiwan every year. After a certain period of time, there were server typhoons that resulted in heavy damage and high death poll. There is still unknown regarding the frequency of the above statement. In the meanwhile, there is no direct relationship between the scale of the typhoon and the death poll. This research applies the grey chain prediction as the research methodology to forecast the forthcoming of next typhoon that will bring heavy damage and high death poll.
