Large plaque parapsoriasis with the 'deck-chair' sign successfully treated with bath psoralen and ultraviolet A therapy.

摘要

Papuloerythroderma of Ofuji is characterized by widespread pruritic solid flat-topped papules coalescing into erythroderma which spares the skin folds. The prominent sparing of the skin folds of the trunk has been termed the "deck-chair" sign. Although the deck-chair sign is a classic feature of papuloerythroderma, this sign has been reported in other diseases. Herein, we report an unusual case of generalized erythema with the deck-chair sign which responded to bath psoralen and ultraviolet A (PUVA) therapy.
