Psychometric properties of the patient rated wrist/hand evaluation - Dutch language version (PRWH/E-DLV)

Dear Sir, Monitoring of clinical information in healthcare has three aims: to determine the severity of the disease; to measure the effect of a treatment; and to quantify clinical information in scientific research. To understand experienced (dis)abilities of patients, self-reported questionnaires were developed. Because Dutch language versions of the existing questionnaires cannot evaluate pain and disability of the affected wrist/hand alone, a specific questionnaire was needed. Therefore, the Patient Rated Wrist/Hand Evaluation (PRW/HE), developed by MacDermid and Tottenham (2004) was translated into Dutch and back again into English by a native English speaker.
