A NEW WEBSITE, developed by Standards Australia for the Fiji Trade Standards Advisory Council, will play a valuable role in strengthening Fiji's trade and export potential in the global market. The new Fiji Standards website was launched in Suva on 8 July 2004 by Fiji Commerce and Investment Minister, Tomasi Vuetilovoni. The launch was also attended by Australian High Commissioner to Fiji, Jennifer Rawson, and Chairman of the Trade Standards Advisory Council of Fiji, Joe Singh. The Standards Australia delegation comprised Chairman, John Castles and Group Manager, Karen Hitchiner.
