Detection of Mycobacterium bovis infection by PCR in an elk.

摘要

This report presents the successful diagnosis of tuberculosis in an elk Cervus nelsoni by species specific PCR methods which resulted in a rapid and effective detection of M. bovis infection within 24 hours.
