Needs of poultry farmers in disinfection and sanitation of poultry farms

摘要

It is felt necessary that special emphasis should be given by the Universities and Research stations to fix research priorities and direct their scientists towards technologival need based research in areas viz. simple methodology for the disposal ofdead birds, effective disinfection technique, and labour saving technology for cleaning the shed. The different perception regarding technological needs among the farmers, extension personnel and technology developers indicates' that there is lack of linkage in these three important systems. Linkage mechanism has to developed to increase the extent of linkage among the three systems.
