Chemical composition and in vitro gas production of fodder tree leaves and shrubs.

摘要

The chemical composition and in vitro gas production parameters of fodder tree leaves and shrubs indicated that most of the fodder tree leaves and shrubs available in north-eastern hilly region of India are acceptable for feeding of cattle. The tree leaves of Albizia procera, Anisochilus pallidus, Artocaipus lakoocha, Impereta cylindrical and Ficus hita are some of the good quality tree leaves and shrubs available for feeding of cattle in this region.
