The production of technical textiles is a rapidly developing trade in the textile industry.Warp knitting is by far the most versatile fabric production system in textiles.Warp knitted structures can be produced elastic/stable,with an open or closed structure;they can be produced flat,tubular or three-dimensional.The new concept of fabric engineering was conceived during the evolution of technical textiles as a natural development of the trial and error methods.The commercially available fabrics failed in many cases to satisfy the specifications set by the producers and the designers and textile engineers were called upon to create entirely new structures.
