摘要

Crystal growth of glycine was accelerated just by focusing a CW 1064-nm laser beam at a position adjacent to a spontaneously generated glycine crystal in D2O. Its rate depended on the distance between the crystal and the focal spot. Interesting crystal growth and dissolution were found, which is considered to be due to Ostwald ripening.
