摘要

We constructed an end-usermodel to measure end-user satisfaction with the quality of database search results, using the customer satisfaction theory as ametric.We investigated end-user satisfaction and analyzed key factors which affected user satisfaction. The results showthat the end-users' perception of value is the key factor among all of the different factors that impact satisfaction with regard to quality and end-users are willing tomake efforts to obtain a higher quality of data. Users tend to evaluate their satisfaction fromthe perspective of their demands, and database developers should be user oriented in order to improve the level of satisfactionwith the data in the database.
