摘要

A special kind of high level Petri net, or predicate/transition net, named Controlled Entity-Message/Transition (CEM/T) net is introduced in this paper. The advantages of using this net can be explained as follows. (I) It may contain most of the characteristics and messages for various components in the physical system. (2) It may describe the dynamic states and corresponding behaviors of system clearly for analyzing and checking both the static and dynamic requirements of the application system. An FMS model is formed via this net which is able to follow all the complicated job-shop production routines for different part in various batch. The problems of FMS simulation, monitoring and control are also under consideration.
