Growers hold rally during harvest

More than 100 tobacco producers gathered at a Tillsonburg area farm in late August to discuss and share thoughts on the challenges and uncertainties currently facing the Ontario tobacco industry. Not a bad turnout considering it happened during harvest, claimed Gerry Sinnesael, who opened up his farm and pack barn for the evening gathering. "I just wanted to get the growers together to voice their opinions and their thoughts," he said.
