The competition was tight. Four entries had separated themselves from the other five, but the gap between the front running foursome was minuscule. In the end, Darwin's final "perfect sample" earned the day. Judge Mark DeVos said the leaves were spectacular with no flaws and earned well-deserved perfect marks.
