Tudy Chong received her Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from the University of Toronto's Faculty of Pharmacy in 1980. After graduation, she joined St Josephs Health Centre, Toronto, where she held various staff, practice leader, and management positions. She is currently the Director, Pharmaceutical Services, at the Royal Victoria Hospital in Barrie, Ontario.Judy is an active member of the Canadian Society of Hospital Pharmacists (CSHP), with contributions at both the Branch and National levels. At the Branch level, she served on the Education Committee (1990-2003) and chaired the Professional Specialty Groups (1990-1993) and the Membership Committee (1993-1999). She also served as Presidential Officer (1999-2002). She is currendy the Branch liaison representative on the Institute for Safe Medication Practices Canada Safe Medication Support Service Advisory Group with the Ontario Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care (2003 to present). At the National level, she chaired the Educational Services Committee from 2003 to 2006 and continues to contribute as a member of this committee.
