An experiment was conducted during spring (February), summer, (May), wet (July), autumn (September) and winter (November) seasons in Berhampore, West Bengal, India, on mulberry genotypes V-1, C-1730, C-2016, C-2017, Anantha, RFS-175, TGH, Vishala, S-1635, S-1 and Local to study the variation in harvest index, biological yield, nitrogen harvest index and other physiological components, and their relation with harvest index, nitrogen harvest index and total protein yield. S-1635 gave the highest leaf yield (132.53 g per plant), stem yield (80.29 g per plant), biological yield (212.82 g per plant), harvest index (62.27), leaf nitrogen (4.50%), stem nitrogen (0.944%), nitrogen harvest index (0.8871), leaf crude protein (28.10%) and protein yield (37.26 g per plant).
