Environmental Impacts and Remedial Measures of Small Limestone Mine

Mineral development and exploration is an urgent need for developing country for its progress but it is associated with environmental problems. A healthy environment in small mines as always has been nightmare. No doubt, small scale mining has inherent and interrelated chain of problems. These problems are mainly due to lack of co-operation and co-ordination and not because of lack of technology or lack of money. Execution of EMP requires high degree of co-operation and co-ordination between various relevant agencies. No doubt, constituents have its own genuine problems, but each one has to realize this responsibility towards the protection of environment. If social awareness could be created; a healthy environment would no more nigh tmares.
