New Member Benefits

Member benefits have changed many times since the Society's inception in 1902, and after a comprehensive review of the use of ECS publications by libraries and members, ECS is introducing a new member benefits package starting in September. (See "From the President" on page 7 of the summer 2008 issue of Interface for more about these new benefits.) ECS members now will have flexible online access to key research articles from the entire ECS Digital Library as part of their benefits package. For the first time, ECS members will enjoy access to ECS Transactions (ECST), the online database containing full-text content of papers presented at ECS meetings and ECS-sponsored meetings. Access also includes the current content from the Journal of The Electrochemical Society 0ES) and Electrochemical and Solid-State Letters (ESL); and now members will have access to the archived content of JES (currently available back to 1948) and ESL (back to its inception in 1998). Members also have unlimited access to Interface and Meeting Abstracts (currently available back to 2005).
